We are seeking a results-driven Acquisitions Specialist for a full-time, permanent, remote position aligned with US EST business hours. This is a phone-first role focused on outbound cold calling, lead qualification, and deal acquisition within real estate and land investment. The ideal candidate treats cold calling as a craft, thrives on high-volume outreach, and can confidently guide a prospect from first contact through signed agreement. Strong analytical skills in market trends, zoning, and property fundamentals are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound cold calls daily to prospective property sellers and landowners.
- Initiate and maintain contact with prospects via phone calls, text messages, and email until a qualified conversation is secured.
- Handle objections confidently, build rapport quickly, and qualify leads in real time during live calls.
- Manage transactions from initial contact through closing, coordinating with property owners and other involved parties.
- Log all call outcomes, notes, and acquired data accurately into the CRM system.
- Analyze market data to identify emerging acquisition opportunities and trends.
- Evaluate property details, including zoning regulations, acreage, and comparable values, to assess deal viability.
- Utilize multiple online platforms and lead sources for prospecting and acquisition.
- Participate in weekly pipeline review meetings to discuss call outcomes, refine scripts, and plan outreach strategy.
- Continuously improve cold-calling technique, tonality, and closing skills through coaching and ongoing training.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Meets or exceeds daily call volume and weekly conversation targets.
- Converts a consistent percentage of cold calls into qualified, CRM-logged leads.
- Builds trust and rapport quickly with prospects on cold, unsolicited calls.
- Maintains a clean, accurate, and up-to-date CRM for team-wide use.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in cold calling, telesales, appointment setting, or outbound phone sales.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a confident, persuasive, and professional phone presence.
- Demonstrated ability to handle rejection and objections while maintaining momentum.
- Strong organizational skills with comfort in detailed and consistent CRM data entry.
- Basic ability to read and interpret property or market data (zoning, acreage, comparable values), or willingness to learn quickly.
- Self-motivated with the discipline to independently manage a high-volume daily calling schedule.
- Comfortable working toward measurable performance targets, including calls per day, leads generated, and conversion rate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in real estate acquisitions, land acquisition, or property investing.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Podio.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales and outreach KPIs in a previous role.
- Negotiation experience with the ability to facilitate deals through to close.
