Chief of Staff / Human Resources Director
This is a full time, remote and permanent role as per the US Central timezone
The Chief of Staff / Human Resources Director serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership while overseeing all human resources functions. This role ensures operational excellence, organizational alignment, talent development, and compliance with employment regulations. The position combines executive-level coordination with full-spectrum HR leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive & Strategic Leadership (Chief of Staff Function)
Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO/Executive Team.
Oversee execution of company goals and strategic initiatives.
Coordinate cross-departmental projects and ensure alignment.
Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and board presentations.
Monitor KPIs and operational performance metrics.
Improve internal processes and organizational efficiency.
2. Human Resources Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Design compensation, benefits, and retention strategies.
Lead performance management and employee evaluation systems.
Develop training and leadership development programs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Build a strong organizational culture and engagement initiatives.
3. Policy & Compliance
Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
Ensure compliance with local and international labor regulations.
Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
4. Organizational Development
Drive change management initiatives.
Improve employee engagement and retention.
Analyze workforce data to guide strategic decisions.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
Experience
5–10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
Experience working directly with C-level executives.
Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Strong background in strategic planning and operations.
